TMS at church today. i think if i had read a little more, i would have enjoyed it a little.
after church i headed to PS with churchies for lunch. at the same time, i met the buyer of my 40D strap and the seller of the crumpler bag. Thank God they were able to meet at PS at about the same time.
after lunch i headed back to church for my sis' surprise! wahh i'm pretty good man, can keep the secret from her till today. hahaha.
oh well, YES i've finally been able to buy a crumpler 6 million dollar home. initially i wanted a 7 million dollar home but my friend all tell me the 7MDH is far too huge. and when i looked into Ben's 6MDH, it does look pretty big already. so yess, i decided to settle for a 6MDH.
okay PICS. i brought my 40D + 30mm f/1.4 out again today.

Nikon's World.
yesterday was just an awesome day.
I WENT GYMING! yea yea i bet gerald will think its no big deal. but yea actually it isn't really a big deal. haha the most i did was to lift some weights, cycled 4.7km, run... 1KM. HAHA yesss 1KM. so pro right?
school was kinda cool cos my lecturer had to attend the NYP graduation so we didn't have lecture. and AutoCADD lab lesson was the bomb man. i'm begining to enjoy AutoCADD, even though i'm like 3 weeks behind everyone else:( but i still love it. after school at 6, met up with chessa, changed then off i went fot Safra mount faber.
it was kinda a good thing my dad gave us a ride the Safra Mount Faber and we, together with dawn were the earliest la! and i seriously thought i was going to be the latest there.
oh well, dinner was great. got to use alot of nikon cameras yesterday. haha. first was my classmate's D60, then i was Leon's D70, then Ben's D80 and Hilda's bf's D80. haha. sighh why no D90?
so yess reached home at midnight last night.
today... was just a plain tiring day:(
Joyce was so sweet. from the start of the dinner, she kept reminding me to take a pic with her. hahaha. oh wells. i was glad i didn't thought of bringing my camera yesterday.

i finally have some spare time now to watch my French Open. i haven't been watching it for the pass 2 days:(
just switched on the TV to Supersports to watch the French Open. apparently, Serbia's President personally flew to Paris to watch his countryman and women in Round 2 of the French Open. thats kinda cool don't you think? i don't even see the various leaders of other countries supporting their own countrymen.
and... the French players and slowly getting out of the games... hahaha. i'm guessing the 2 remaining french in the game would be monfils and simon.

Angels & Demons
i caught Angels and Demons last night at the cinema with my sis, pam and sing ee. it was a pretty awesome movie. i liked how tom hanks had to go around the whole of St. Petersburg in search of the 4 victims and finally managing to save the last one.
oh well, as for school, i've volunteered myself to help photograph a school camp together with another senior from nyppc from the 12th to 14th of june next month. since i don't think i'll be joining much of their wednesday club meetings due to CF, i might as well help them shoot events. i enjoy doing them, i get cca points and i can have fun in the midst of doing such stuff too.
AND AND AND, i'm hoping to get hold of the club's 180mm f/3.5L macro lens to use during the camp. if not, hopefully zexun can lend me his 70-200 f/2.8. * prays hard!!!* :D

Had a (FAILED) surprise party for Luke & Amos today at Bre's dad's shop. but it was still good fellowship. got my tammy back.
#1 this was a really delicious dish with salmon.

Rolland Garros 2009
in most Tennis Lovers dictionary. they only look forward very much to 3 major tennis competitions. the first is the Australian Open at Australia's Melbourne Park. the 2nd is the Rolland Garros French Open held in Paris, and last of all, Wimbledon which is held in London.
Australian Open was held in January and it's over. Rafael Nadal won it. Wimbledon is coming up in july. i wonder if the 3rd seed Novak Djokovic wins it. i'm hopping he wins it. Federer has an unlikely chance of winning every again and Nadal has won too many time already. he has won 5 championships just this year alone! which is an average of 1 each month!!
so what did i leave out? ROALLAND GARROS! yess! and i'm especially INTO it because i had the chance to be at the tennis stadium itself 2 months back. i still remember the moment i landed in Paris from scotland, i told myself," there is something which i wanna see badly but can't seem to remember what in the world it is." well, so after 2 days at Paris disneyland my mum and i made our way into the city of Paris. when i stepped into the hotel at paris, i realised what i had forgotten. THE FRENCH OPEN! i saw a shelf full of different places of interest at Paris and Rolland Garros was one of them.
actually, at first i thought to myself," wahh so far away from where i stay maybe i shouldn't go." then my mum said," aiyoo, come all the way here already just go la!" so yess in the end i went and i didn't regret a single bit.
#1 this totally cracked me up as i walked into the entrance of the tennis stadium. its like so true!
#2 so my mum and i paid 25 euros for the stadium tour. sighh apparently in UK. if you're not older than 18 years old, you're considered an infant! HAHA
#3 the tour started. we first visited Court Suzanne Langlen. if i'm not wrong she won the most number of time in the court. as such, the court was named after her.
#4 we then made our way to the Center Court, but before doing so. we made a slight detour to the Men's and Women's locker room. this you see is Rafael Nadal's locker he used for the pass 5 years. HAHA
#5 this is a pic of many many signatures of different tennis players. the thing is. after every game, the winner of that particular game will get to sign on the wall. this tradition started in 2005 after a male player signed on it after winning a really tough match. so as you might have guessed... Rafal nadal has many many signatures there. haha he's the King of the French Open la.
#6 Center Court. well, i'm pretty sure right at this moment. the clay would have been changed. seats would have been put in place and sounds systems and stuff positioned. IT'S COMING SOOOON!!!

i'm begining to enjoy mondays. i start at 10am with Personal Development (which is a total waste of time) till 12noon. then lunch break for an hour. after that its an hour of math lecture then its a 2 hour lab lesson but the lab only occurs once in 2 weeks. so i left school at 2pm today! woohooo.
and after sch just now i went to apply for my Basic Theory Test at the driving centre. test is on 12th june. i took the slot because i would be going for church camp at malaysia on the 15th so 12th would be a good. i can't wait for practical to start!!!

today my sunday school class went Hort Park near harbour front. it was good company but mann... it was so hot!!!
sarah apparently had to do some school work so she was walking around snapping a few pics here and there.

i was quite pleased know just before i left when one senior from NYP photography club told me to help them shoot school events. wow.. i'm really excited!
so yes, i've officially joined the NYPPC.

i visited Bukit Panjang Methodist Church today.
overall, it was a pretty good experience. i marvel at the fact that the youth comprises of 13 year olds all the way to 20+ years old. everyone worships together. okay maybe i felt a little amazed because in FMC, we've intermediate department & YF.
and i met a few firmiliar faces we well.
i'm hoping to visit wesly methodist church soon cos i didn't get the chance to the last time round.

this was taken when i tested my sigma 30mm lens. i'm really happy that i managed to get a really sharp copy of the lens because this lens is known for its focusing issues. even Zexun said it was a sharp copy when he tried using it. awesome!!!

settled in
i got to school earlier today with my dad and i managed to get my timetable and tutorial group and all my new lecture notes.
and also, the very first Manufacturing Engineering lecturer was really helpful to me. because i missed his 2 chapters of lectures, he actually sat down with me for almost half and hour going through the 2 topics with me while we had e-learning.
and i spoke to a few of my new classmates. hmm they seem nice. haha
okay so after school i made my way down to singapore poly to see their CCA fair. oh man it was really really warm there. but managed to meet a few old friends:)
CF was awesome today:)
i had no idea what the couple were doing. but it sure seem interesting! haha

after 4 weeks of waiting, 3 weeks of school, 2 appeal letters and 1 nice looking notification... I HAVE OFFICIALLY SWITCHED TO THE ENGINEERING COURSE I APPEALED FOR!!!
OMG OMG OMG i am so so so happy! i am never ever making myself do so much eletronic maths in a day! its just killing me! haha.
so basically for now, i'm currently class-less and timetable-less, so i'm hoping i get into my new class and settle in soon. and GOD, please please gimmi a good timetable! hopefully i get to end school at 6pm on thursdays and earlier on tuesdays.

Good Morning, pretty thing.
i slept pretty late last night because i was on msn with josh and dawn, so i decided to sleep a little longer today since its a public holiday and theres no school.
BUT at 8.30am, there was this really annoying high pitch noise that kept sounding! i initially thought it was from my phone and i even shouted at my phone to ," shut up! " haha. but it didn't work. so i reluctantly got my lazy butt out of bed and headed window, i moved the curtains aside and i saw a cute little bird! haha. man, i've no idea how it got into my room. it might have came in last night before i turned on the aircon and shut the windows. so it got to enjoy the cool aircon for the night.
well, so i had no idea what to do. my first thought was actually to take out my camera and shoot a few pics of it. HAHA which i did! after shooting i called my daddy and he helped me direct the bird into a container where i brought it, with the bird in it, outside to a grass patch and it flew off.
so this was taken when it was in my room. it was trying to fly upwards to get out but because it was such a cramped space it couldn't. BUT ITS CUTE RIGHT!
so my dad and i placed the bird into the container and i brought it out my house to a small little grass patch. the amazing thing was when i opened the cover of the container it still continued to stood very still. BUT the sec i shot this shot, it immediately flew away! haha. the bird must be camera shy. tsk!
