the whole school today was just dead la. haha must be the Euro Finals early this morning. i didn't even know it was the finals... i only update myself with Wimbledon! i was really tired too cos of the sentosa yesterday!
school was kinda slack and boring but alot of homework now... BOOHOO!
i've asked around on clubsnap on what i should bring along and how i should shoot for the upcoming gangshow... as such i'll bring my 400D, battery grip, tammy 17-50, 50 f/1.8(should i?), sj's 580EX and lightsphere, hopefully sj's 85 f/1.8(pls :)) as well. a tripod... 3 batteries
i'm really hopeing my classmate will lend me his 70-200 f/2.8L IS!!!

today was sentosa day!
my aim today was to (1) have loads of fun (2) get darker
today was pretty fun.
we first took a coach chartered coach in from church. it was $3/ entry. sigh. headed down to siloso beach where we then started our games. right into our first game it started raining! but i was certain that it would be a passing cloud cos i'm a geog student. hehe and true enough within half an hour... then sun was back and even hotter which was great! the game was kinda cool just that a little annoying at times.
2nd game was pretty fun to. just that i was a little irritated but other than that. it was fine...
after the games most people went back. my sunday school stayed back a little while to Chill out on the beach. yea.. Chill out. HA
Jared and i just layed under the sun hoping to get darker. monica, gerald, sarah, rachel, jess, wei wei were just washing thier feet in the seawater. haha
got changed then headed to vivocity for lunch... well it was 4pm then. ate at carl's jr... tiffany dropped by cos she was nearby. i was really hungry then so i ordered a combo set. surprisingly i couldn't finish my fries but i knew i better not force myself to eat. i really don't want to gain that extra weight.
after that took train with gerald, jared, sarah and pho...
so overall. i had loads of fun and i also got tan! haha sunburn actually. my arms and neck is rather red. LOBSTER!

currently, i don't understand why poly or uni students always carry a bag and laptop seperately when they go out. isn't it troublesome? maybe they're just telling people they've a laptop? i really dunno..
just a random thought today...
if i ever get into poly and get into the course i want. i'll probly buy a lowepro bag which can fit my SLR, laptop and books...

ha after school i intended to go island creamery with my classmate cos we had spare time from 1.30pm to 3.50pm but cos i had to collect a letter so we didn't go. ALL YOUR FAULT! HAHA jkjk
kinda happy that i'm shooting for gangshow this year. hopefully can borrow flash and lightsphere from sj. a bounce hard would be useless i think.

first 2 periods were taken up by House Meeting. yay it has finally come! like every other year i would play badminton hoping to always win:)
my House usually gets either 1st or 2nd placing in badminton cos there are 3 badminton school team players. hehe :P

last night i couldn't get myself to sleep... could have been cause i slept a little early and some stupid stuff disturbing my sleep. so i went over to my sis' room and watch tennis. yea at night cannot sleep supposed to watch boring shows to make me sleep right? haha i watch interesting stuff like tennis. so pro-ded :D
school was... okay?
after morning essembly as my class walked off the tennis courts... so happen my eyes and another teacher(also from church) eye's met and we gave the look as though its a sigh-its-the-first-day-of-school-and-week-day... sigh... i've got a change in timetable too. i love the arrangement now, just that on thursdays my recess is at 11.40am! crazy la!
i had a short convo with irvine before school today. cos he was at the church where i went for the wedding on saturday. thats his church and he was also controlling the powerpoint. haha we were pissed on how many photographers and cameramen there were which is very true. the hall is already so tight to be in and yet there are 3 photographers and 2 filming the event as well. crazyness la.
and i think its quite strange too. onephotographer was carrying around 2 olympus bodies with no ext flash! he uses built in flash. the pic will definetly be underexposed. he should have just sticked to one camera body and buy a flash or at least borrow from someone! these people are shooting the couple's most important moments leh.
on a side not. if i ever get married i wouldn't allow 3 or more photographer man. at most 2... 3 is way too much!

after church headed down to suntec city carrefour to buy my bike! i bought the $308 one! front suspension, hardtail, 26" rim. quite a light frame. it'll be delievers next monday! haha its like waiting to collect a new car or something. :P
i'm proud of myself.i took 5mins to put on my contacts today! improvement okay! compared to 30mins at the optician! hahahaha
sigh school is starting tomorrow. student drag going back. even teachers do too. HAHA

i headed down to suntec city, carrefour, this morning to check out the bikes. every bike selling there was Aleoca, which is a local brand. but there was one pick that caught my eye. i really love the frame work! but its $308! and my parents ain't willing to pay so much for it. sigh...
afternoon i followed my dad to queenstown chi meth church for a wedding ceremony. the food was GOOOOD!!! hahaha.
evening headed to my cousin's house for family gathering. had kinda good time talking to my much older cousins. when i say much older its like 10 years, 20 years older than me one. hahaha and i also found out my cousins who are like twice my age read my blog. HAHA... oh no...

i'm happy today! my mum told me my dad would be buying me a new bike and most probly one too for my sis! but i'm confirm getting one!
this time... i really want one with suspension. front suspension would be good enough for me. ha my current bikes are like almost close to 5 years old. cos i got them in 2003 just before PSLE. hmmm i think its really time to change.
i came to know that my cousin Siyong and cousin in law fuh siang would be migrating to New Zealand really soon on 1st sept. kinda sad they're migrating. fuh siang is one funny guy to be with. he'll make you laugh at everything he says...
well, i collected my contact lenses today! had a really hard and teary time putting the lenses on. but the staff at the optician were really nice and patient. haha. surprisingly i took only half an hour to put them on. haha you might be wondering why on earth i said "only half an hour"... cos most people take more than an hour putting ONE lens on. haha the optician me one even took 3 hours just to put the lens into the right eye. sigh that must be real boring i'll say...
walked home from there and i bought M&Ms! awesome chocolate! and i drank soyabean milk from this shop near my home.
tomorrow is gonna be a fun day. i'll be going suntec in the morning to look at the bikes. hopefully there is a cheap and good enough one then on sunday my dad and i can go back and make payment for it. yes its pretty urgent cos i cycled for my math and science tuition every week. without the bike its very inconvenient and YES i'm lazy to walk.
then after suntec i'll be going for a wedding ceremony and to be honest. i have completely no idea how the bride and groom look like.

this morning was good for me. half way cycling to math tuition my gears became really cranky. everytime i cycled the gears will change by itself making cycling rather dangerous and annoying.
in the early afternoon i went to united square to do some math. the 2006 cedar sec prelim math paper is gay la. so so difficult! :( i had starbucks!!! i think i better cut down man... to expensive and its making my fats come back to me.
then just before leaving starbucks i received a msg from a friend saying she's going the very same starbucks too. hahaha.
had dinner at pastamania with gerald and jess then headed to popular and did an exchange then off i went for badminton!
badminton was fun. sadly nic couldn't make it. :(

yea i went to the optician yesterday near my house to make contact lenses. sadly i need to use disposable ones because of my right eye... the optician told me the reason but i've forgotten.
so i'll be getting the soft lenses where i'll use them monthly. after bout 30 days then i'll change a new one... i think it'll last me for bout 6 months. and its rather expensive cos for 6 pairs of lenses its $200 altogether. on top of that, i'll need to go back to the optician this friday for an hour long session on how i should wear my lenses. haha but that session alone its $50!!! haha my friend offered to teach me for free. hehe!

i was telling my friend bout it last night and i never knew there were hard and soft lenses. haha i dunno what... i only know bout camera lenses only. hehe
sigh i really wanna go europe again!!!
and i think my appetite is rapidly increasing. i've been eating so so much this hols! be it in singapore or in malaysia. like every meal in malaysia was good food...except for breakfast. bleah!:(

yesterday evening:
went for Kev's birthday BBQ. was rather fun. met him under his block then we cabbed there. cleaned the pit up then waited for his friends and the food to come.
haha i'm pro in starting the BBQ fire man!!! the fire was how nice and hot la! hehe. i must say the food was good. kev brought some chicken he prepared by himself... those were really tasty.
some friends from school came... hakim, hong(and his gf), eugene, fred and glenn who is in ngee ann now.
i really ate alot alot alot... like more than 10 chicken wings, six sausages plus one little crapmeat stick. alot of beehoon and fried rice and otah! and stingray!
well i certainly hope kev had a good time yesterday.
Today:
felt really stupid today. cos i had to take a mrt from tpy to orchard to go paragon... but while on the train... i kept thinking i was going orchard building whihc is opp cineleisure so i missed the stop! so i just got onto orchard road and walked to paragon.
my dentist tighten my braces again.. this time he really added alot more pressure on the tooth! :(
and i realised not long ago i'll be going santosa on the 29th june! haha kinda cool!

12th june:
woke up at 4.45am that day to take a shower. by 6am we were on the road. but only reached the highway at 7.30. we stopped at ayer keroh at 9.45am to eat A&W.. hehe we always go there. after that we went all the way straight to KL.
but before we checked in we headed to sungai wang where i bought my camera tripod. cost me S$98. we then checked in to our hotel. well since we had time my sisters and i wanted to go for a massage but soon we realised it had to be done in our hotel suite so we chose not to in the end.
evening we went to this huge shopping centre called Pavilion. just imagine Paragon right smack in the centre of KL. it looks exactly like paragon in singapore la. almost everything there is the same. and really expensive. haha we bought DONUTS! then off we went back to our hotel.
13th june:
my hotel's buffet breakfast was bad. like really really bad. after breakfast we drove to KLCC which was just down the road from my hotel. used the RM50 voucher that the hotel gave... i had some free-time alone to i went out and snapped some shots. how i wish i had a 10-22mm lens with me :(
after that we headed to The Curve... its 4 huge shopping centres joint together. we ate at TGI-Friday's first... the food was oh so GOOD! then we split up again. i went bowling with me myself and i. sadly the first 2 games i did very badly... but the 3rd game i hit 152pin falls.
we met up again. we drank STARBUCKS COFFEE!!! haha jealous? and its super super cheap!!! well, compare to singapore la. and i bought a camera strap for RM50.
after that, visited the toilet then it was off on the road to our firefly tour. while driving around 4pm. we noticed after the firefly tour... we would be driving back to KL city with no street lamps. only had the car's headlights to rely on which was kinda cool! ate at the seafood restaurant which was so cheap! RM103 for 6 people. at 8 went for the firefly tour... well it was good but after a while it got rather boring.
after the tour it was about 100km back to KL city. there was a 5km straight road where there was completely no street lamps. it was kinda cool driving on high and low beam headlights. malaysian motorist are scary!
14th june: yesterday
again the buffet breakfast was horrible. we checked out at 10am. drove to malacca and lunched at the Newton Food Centre. driving back to malacca brought back memories of the trip i went last year. be it good or bad. i showed my family the places we went, the hotel i stayed. shopped then we went serect reciepe at makota parade for cake. then headed back to JB. we went to a kinda posh restaurant to eat our dinner.. and the posh restaurant is so big that it can hold 3 big weddings at the same time. on top of that there was a section where outisders can eat as well.
went back singapore by tuas 2nd link. after clearing malaysia customs. i realised my passport wasn't stamped... so we reported to the singapore side. an officer lead us to the other side of the highway to go back malaysia. managed to get it stamped then headed back home...
so i spent altogether RM280 on a tripod and a camera strap. and spent alot alot as in by the hundreds... on food!
from machap to ayer keroh along the NS highway, i sat in front while my sis drove. good thing my dad bought a MPV... much more space for all 6 of us

just got back a few minutes ago. i should have been back bout an hour and a half hours ago but due to some unforeseem event... we couldn't. my family even had to drive back to malaysia customs.

i just got this sudden motivation to draw again. i used to draw alot last time... i enjoyed art alot in sec1 and 2. usually having one of the best grades in class. but dunno why i haven't been drawing. oh well. i did yesterday... as you can see. hehe gloria can proof i drew that. she was sitting right in front of me.
i thought today would be a busy day cos i had to go school for D&T but decided not too. instead i decided to stay at home and pack my stuff for tomorrow and do some physics.
so far.. today i did physics. charged a 400D's battery and a IXUS battery. packed my stuff. i used bother of my deuter bags cos i fit everything into 1 bag. i'm bringing a nike bumbag to put my hp headset, IXUS and PSP.
tomorrow my parents plan to leave the house by 5.30am so we can clear malaysia customs by 6am. zoom zoom till our breakfast stop. eat then zoom zoom to ayer keroh... this place is a black bridge over the north-south highway. it has cool stuff there. then i think after that stop we'll zoom zoom all the way to KLCC where our hotel is very near it. hopefully we can reach there by 12noon. i think should be possible.
and i'll be back on saturday night. hopefully i can go for kev's birthday bbq on sunday evening :)

starbucks!
kinda dragged myself to school today. didn't feel like doing at D&T today. had quite a few screw ups with regards to my project :(
and the team of D&T teachers are really nice people... the world needs more people like them
after D&T i took a stroll to united square to meet gerald and gloria. i was initailly supposed to meet my cca friends to watch kungfu panda but decided not to. kinda lazy to go cathay and come back united square. so i did my physics tys and of cos talked alot too. haha. and i used gerald's labtop and watched this rather funny vid on youtube.
dinner was just gerald and i then we had Ben& Jerry's! i tell you the strawberry cheesecake rocks la!
tomorrow! i shall clear my shelfs, charge my SLR's batteries and canon IXUS's battery and pack my stuff for the trip. i borrowed my aunts PSP!
i was doing my physics and got really bored. so i took a peice of paper from gloria and drew this while she did her work and gerald watching vids on youtube. the only stantionary used was a pencil and an eraser. no compass was used in case you're wondering. i drew some guidelines and a draft before i drew the actual one. haha not bad right?

OMGosh!
last night was Roland Garros French Open's finals. Rafeal Nadal, world number 2 played against Roger Federer who is world number 1. i was kinda happy i didn't watch it because the final score was just ridiculous. Nadal trashed, YES TRASHED Ferderer with a score of 6-1, 6-2, 6-0. what type of tennis is this?
not that i expect ferderer to win thie match but at least show more motivation in winning la! so now nadal is the 2nd player in the history of tennis to win 4 french open grand slams. kinda awesome.
all i watched was the 2nd game when nadal was leading 2-0. then the next i watched was during the prize presentation. it would seriously been a waste of time watching the whole match.
good thing i spent that time on more productive stuff... like debating how an envelope should be sent overseas. HAHA sigh...
its kinda cool. latest i've heard is that i'll be dropping by malacca on my last day in malaysia to shop. haha i think it'll really bring back some memories when i was there last december for a week.

its kinda cool. my church just bought in a new sound mxier. looks rather cool. i think the house speakers should be replaced really soon. so is the spot lights.
i finally exchanged back my camera. Ai was nice... she cleaned up my dirty sensor in the camera. hahaha. and she bought me this really cool thingy which i've no idea what it is. seeing my camera without a battery grip really freaks me out. hahaha cos ever since i bought the camera and battery grip the grip has been on the camera ever since.
had lunch with my sunday school class. hahaha its kinda fun talking to pho and gerald about MGS students. all the scandals & gossips are being shared around either by talking bout it or electronically. hehehe:) haha seriously pho is the best la... really one kind of person. HAHA! whats a mother-lion man?
and i feel kinda sad for sj, i heard he lost his camera just witin the 4 days he went europe. and like not say his is just a normal digital camera. its a dSLR like mine with various lenses, batteries and memory cards. its gotta hurt alot man... :(

Djokovic will play against Nadal. where its pretty obvious nadal will win. and if nadal wins this match and wins in the finals he'll be the 2nd guy ever to win 4 french open titles in a row.
Federer will be playing against this french player call Monfils(i think)... for this it'll be a hard match but i think federer will win. why? looking at how Federer plays, he's the more daring sort of person where he'll shoot to corners. where as for monfils he's good but he gives too much chances for his players.
tomorrow i'll be a good scout and go for meeting. haha but thankfully its only from 9am to 11am. hehe!
and i went to bishan with my 3rd sis carrying an OSIM eye massager. it really feels gay carrying that around! and osim stuff are so expensive. a weighing scale is $98! i go NTUC can buy for less than $20 la. its just an example la i ain't gonna buy one. haha

the past few minutes i've been reading my archives since june 07'. i just realised that my writing style has changed. the people that i mention about have changed too. its kinda sad to see some friends you were to close now so distant.
i'm more or less kinda certain what poly course i wanna do next year. i think Adin's film media and sound course sounds kinda cool. :) and it has photography too. but i think i can relate to this course much better.and if i go there i'll need to buy a mac book ( which i don't really want to) and i'll buy myself a new camera bag. hehe
but to get in...i heard its 11pts.:(

holidays
school hols become more fun when we find out scandalous stuff people do :)
talking to my friend on msn last night made me recall my holidays in penang in june 2003 and june 2007.
the one in 2003 was amazing... my dad drove all the way up to penang. it was about 650km there. we stayed in the shangri~la beach resort facing the sea. i tell you it was such a beautiful sight. we went to this night market just outside the resort... we did sea sports like the banana boat, jet ski!!! oh i love jet ski! then my sisters did para-sailing but i didn't dare. haha.
the trip which i went with the scouts was kinda cool too. we took a 7hour overnight bus ride from singapore to penang, you can imagine how fast the 45 seater coach was traveling. HAHA. i guess for this trip we went more of site seeing and shopping! haha and i also went back to the same night market.
hmmm, and i dunno why but i'm really really looking forward to my malaysia trip next thursday. even though we'll be shopping most of the time. haha actually if possible i wanna go sungie wang... i've a feeling there are good camera equipment deals there. oh well...

i was sleeping rather peacefully last night then at 11.20 my phone msg tone sounded and i almost jumped out of bed. RAHH oh well...
got up early to go school for D&T. brought my camera along to show mr rosli my lens. after D&T i walked with my classmate hakim to united sq... seriously, i'll never ever walk next to a person smoking. really stinks... but he was considerate la, he just took a few puffs... then when he headed to novena and i headed to united sq he started puffing more.
met gerald and his 3 poly friends at starbucks. snapped a few shots... so did gerald and sharon, who is gerald's poly friend.
HA and after what gerald told me bout pho... its rather amusing.
this chap here was rather annoying. he was talking on the phone for quite a long time and was really unfriendly

i don't understand why a family would take 30 mins just to choose 6 pictures out of 20 for our family potrait. RAHH!
i've been updating myself more often on cars. the new honda accord looks kinda like a 2006 toyota camry! and the interior looks like a BMW 8 series. and i sat in my uncle's nissan cefiro... it was good but i prefer the honda accord better. its like... you can feel which is a better car when you ride in it.
when i grow and IF i have the money i still wanna buy a honda civic! but looking at the retardedly insane inflation singapore is facing i'll just stick to a bicycle. HAHA!
