man, i'm so much like the comic book character, garfield. i seriously seriously hate mondays! and i hate tuesdays too. but at least after today, i'm one step into knowing what components are needed to make a bomb. wheeeeeeee.
& i exchanged my 430EXII with Zexun's 580EXII this evening. wow when i held the 580EXII. it felt like a beast! so huge. haha oh well, maybe because the 430EXII is so so tiny!
okay i think tomorrow is going to be a fun day.

today i learnt Binary codes during one of my lectures. wahh i tell you, i'm sick and tired of seeing zerooos and onesss on a stupid piece of paper! so many many!
and... i honestly feel that F&B companies are really big cheaters. have you been noticing that more and more drinks have an icon showing "REDUCED sugar"? i mean, don't you think these companies are just wanting to cut cost but at the same time making it sound good? OMG and they keep increasing the prices for the drinks...
no wonder i've been drinking lesser and lesser soft drinks.
actually you know what, since poly term started. i've been saving money like a pig. after every meal i'll count how much i spent. if i think i spend too much, i'll scold myself. haha. well, mainly because i need to build up on my savings, and also, my lens! actually, i've started looking for one already, hoping to get one between 500-530 dollars.

Nike Sleeve
today is one busy morning. i came to church at 7.30am to set up the sound system for worship service. even before i stepped in there were 3 people waiting for me. 1st was uncle moses, 2nd was qing wen and 3rd was raymond yee. wahh and i was on time. i really respect these people for having good time management.
and FMC is starting a 40 Days of Community programme soon so there was a video. then raymond also had a video on his campus crusade movement and followed by qing wen who had a short vid on his sermon. wahh stress man, good thing uncle edwin and chris were present, their help was very much needed. THANKS!
so after lunch i bought my Nike laptop sleeve! initially i thought it'll cost me $34.90 for the sleeve. but noooo, there was a 40% discount given! haha so in the end i just paid 90 cents more then my expected budget. i paid $20.90! wahh not bad. its BLACK!

this time round..
i attened a Worship Seminar today at church this afternoon. it was indeed quite interesting, we had a really interesting speaker from TTC.
and and and, i finally SOLD off my 50mm f/1.8 II lens and crumpler strap today for $120. i'm pleased that i sold them for a good price to a nice chap. the buyer was/is a scout too!

hmm, i think i'm currently learning what joshua and daniel learned in their poly days; computer programming. we're actually using software in which the Programme called C# ( C sharp) is used to type all the orders to the computer. kinda cool.
sighh but after the programming lab, it was 2 hours of boring math. i'm pretty sure the lecturer is as old as my grandma la, and my grandma is like way cooler than her!

there were quite alot of new comers for wednesday's CF. at least, that was what i heard when the older CFers compared to previous years numbers. well, that good to see. Kheng Hao was there too.

my day
thankfully my wednesdays are short... i only have lectures from 12noon to 2.50pm and i'm off.
so at 3pm my dad dropped by nyp to help me purchase the laptop. YES i got an Acer is anyone is wondering. paid 1.7K for it. after that we dropped the laptop at home and off i went to harbour front to collect my camera flash from CSC. thank goodness i didn't pay a single cent for the servicing, if not i'll need to pay quite bit of money.
wahh then i took 61 down to ngee ann poly. i was debating with Dawn as to whether i'll reach np before 5.30pm. AND I DID! i reached at 5.27pm to be exact. haha.
so i went in to the room where CF was held. hmm saw some firmiliar faces there. will post pics another time.
so after CF we went for dinner at kap. haha wow it was quite a big group who went down kap for dinner, and good thing amos came to pick breanne. haha i took a ride from him to go bishan.
my reason for going bishan is because my boss at haagen dazs has ended her contract (IIRC) so she wants to go back phillipines. man i'm really sad that she's leaving us. she's the best boss one can ever have, serious. she can seriously make something funny out of nothing! arghh gonne miss her so much!
okok lectures start at 8 tmr. gonna sleep!

#1 the lovely weather! i loved the weather that day. it was really god given. cos the past few days, it was raining like no one's business..
#2 because the weather was so great. boy, was i happy. hahaha

okay so apparently, ethel told me today she'll be studying at nyp. you know, at first i seriously thought she flunk her A levels so she doing a 3 year diploma. haha but no, she's doing a 4 year degree course, under the school of Life Sciences. haha.
well, at least theres one person from church who's in nyp with me!
man, i'm so dreading school tomorrow. as of now, i can't find a reason why i should be enjoying, maybe i'll find one soon.
this shot wasn't taken by me. it was taken by either Joyce or Joel cos they were using my camera most of the time. actually at first when i saw the pic it was all sand, so i decided to crop it and when i did so, i found that there was the ant there! so i cropped it even more and got the above shot. haha.

CCA Fiesta @ np
headed to ngee ann poly today with van, chessa, josh & andrew to help choose pics for the christian fellowship (CF) booth which will be showcasing some stuff during the CCA fiesta at np on monday and tuesday.
so we chose some pics from various photographers. like from Ian, Shawn, Ben and of cos myself.
and i also met Caleb to collect my lowepro pouch! finally i've a pouch to use to shoot during events.

anyone of you watching the Monte-Carlo Rolex Master Series tennis matches? its kinda cool you know. haha i can't wait for the French Open to come at Rolland Garros, Paris!
i don't think i've mentioned.. but when i was at Paris bout 3 or 4 weeks back. my mum and i went to Rolland Garros where the yearly French Open is played. it looks really different when i see it on TV. i mean, during the French Open you see many many people there. but on a normal day when you go there, there's seriously no one there. haha. but the tour which we booked for was a good experience. we walked into the Center Court. haha then i was thinking to myself as i walked into the Center Court, " HAHA this was where Federer's ass got beaten by Nadal last year. hehe. "

yesterday morning was just one of my worse days in the whole duraion of my holidays ever since O levels ended. yess it was poly orientation for me.
arghh i seriously need lots and lots and lots of time to adjust to poly life. if i don't adjust myself quick, i might just die. man, i'm so not gonna make myself type one whole long list on the things that happened. but i must say that the Orientation Group Leaders have been quite nice to me (for leaving early and arriving late for orientation. HAHA)
yea so yesterday at 1.30pm. i actually left orientation early to meet my camp CF group at city hall for ice cream at gelare. it was pretty good fellowship and food too. suaning melvin is fun. haha
then some of the guys decided to visit saint andrew's cathedral so we all went together. and just then, SAJC's student council was there for a trail run for today's commendation service or something which Zexun is shooting for today.
but after that we made our way to payer laber, bought some stuff for the potluck and made our way to a church along joo chiat road for dinner. dinner was good, fellowshipping was good as well but chessa and i had to leave early. i had to go meet Zexun.
okoki'm really tired now. ahha and its still in the afternoon!

i think everyone should watch fast & furious 4. i wouldn't say its the best show to watch, but if you love things that go fast, that'll be a show for you to watch.
after the movie with church peeps, i met up with some CFers to go visit chessa at a flea market up mount sophia.
at first, daniel and i thought a flea market was just an open air area with people selling their stuff. but apparently, things have changed. this flea market was indoors! and the stupid aircon wasn't working. i seriously pity the people selling their stuff there..
#1 well, we waited outside for awhile because the place was just far too cramp and noisy! and so happen there were these little scooters displayed outside the flea market. we decided to sit on them for a while. i didn't.
#2 the banner outside the flea market. apparently, the place where the flea market was was part of a church, i think. and what disgusted me was that there were alot of people smoking! smelly pon pi pi...

i love playing around clubsnap's Buy & Sell threads. my hands were a little itchy today, so i just started a thread showing that i want to sell my lens. within 30mins, i've got 4 offers!
this shows that i won't have problem selling my lens next month. even better still, i can sell it above targeted selling price.
okay i hope no one from clubsnaps sees this. hehe.
& i bought my optech camera strap today! will be selling my crumpler industry disgrace on monday.

HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY kids!
this morning i went Bukit Arrang for Ben's, a fellow CFer, baptism together with a few other CFers. so after the baptism we headed upstairs for the easter service. oh and their holy communion is much different from methodist churchs. kinda cool actually.
okay its raining now and i need to leave the house soon for Qing Ming. arghh it always rains on good friday.

UK 2009
#1 so before lunch at Newcastle's chinatown, we walked around the place a little. we walked past the Newcastle FC stadium. if anyone is dying to see the picture of that please let me know.
#2 so we had lunch at a chinese buffet restaurant. trust me, the food can never be compared to singapore. haha. but surprisingly the locals there love chinese food. thats great!
#3 after lunch at chinatown we made our way back to the train station and took a train to the city of Durham, just 15mins away from newcastle.
#4 at Durham train station. we waited for a taxi to take us to my sis' hostel. lugging around a 20kg suitcase isn't a very good idea. serious!
#5 so we settled into my sis' hostel. left our barang barang there, then we went for a walk. oh man i loved the weather so so much! background shows my sis' hostel block
#6 yess i posted this shot before. but anyway, we walked around durham city. it was 15 degrees but the sun was really bright so i just removed my jacket. wahh it felt really awesome man.

#9 so below the bridge, it was this river/lake/stream/drain, also dunno what. yea.. there were people rowing little sampans! so cute!

#12 we went to this cafe for tea.. not bad. the fudge cake was awesome. haha
22th March
#13 breakfast the next morning. hot chocolate!!!
#14 we were waiting for time to pass after breakfast so i went down for a little stroll around the hostel blocks.
#15 it was sunday that day so went to my sis' church. after church we went Nando's to eat lunch. the food was pretty good.
#16 during the church's service that day, all mothers were given a bunch of flowers because it was UK's mother's day then.
#17 so after lunch, we headed back to my sis' hostel. packed our stuff, did some update for our flight to paris and off we went to the train station.
#18 we waited for our train which would take us from Durham to Edinburgh, the capital of scotland. edinburgh is a really nice place, you should go there one day.
23rd March
#19 on monday, we started the day with breakfast at Obrien's
#20 making our way to Edinburgh castle.
