Dazs...
worked yesterday from 6-11. i'm glad a worked last night. partly its because of the Pint that i brought home. its like $14.50 worth of ice cream. but i like the team of people working together. the team on fridays and the weekends isn't as fun as the weekday ones. well, lets hope no one from Haagen Dazs sees this.
oh oh oh, from the 1st of feb Haagen Dazs will be launching its new promotion. the Berry Mosiac! its made of Rasberry and strawberry ice cream. wah seh, when our manager, Rowel, were briefing alicia and i, i was almost drooling! its sounds and looks so delicious! man, i wanna try one of those!
and also, next month there would be a mystery shopper. if we as waiters and waitresses do our jobs well, we may get a pay increase or working incentives. thats darn awesome!

WHAT? world number 3 in tennis, Novak Djokovic, retired from his game against world number 7, Andy Roddick, in the australian open. thats madness! never in my life would anyone expect Djokovic to retire during a match with Roddick during a 6-7 6-4 6-2 2-1 match.
oh well, at least the other top seeded players are still in the game! i really hope Federer wins but i somehow have a feeling Nadal will win this time round.

this years chinese new year has been great. talking to my cousins, nieces and nephews during dinner is kinda entertaining. my nieces are the best kids to talk to man...
#1 cousins... at 5th uncle's house before starting the day's visitations
#2 this shot is actually taken outside PM Lee's house. every year during cny home visitations, we'll always go to my uncle's house, who happens to stay next to PM Lee. as you can see, there is a police officer standing at the extreme left.

#4 for my family, after my aunt's house i went to our mum's side of the family for lunch, at gerald's house. like every year my family would always be later because of the traffic and the distance.

church today was great, there was the malacca mission trip presentation. personally i would have wanted to stay for the whole thing but sadly we couldn't. the presentation was awesome, brought back much memories from the trip and all the little kids.
CNY tmr. lock and loaded! i think my chinese new year clothes look kinda ugly.

i think americans in singapore should really learn to respect singaporeans. it doesn't mean they can tell us off just because singapore has a high cost of living. why blame us when we're not the ones that increase taxes... and not say they can't afford them. and they are stupid enough to dine-in where they can actually take away and need not pay taxes.

yes! i've got a ipod touch 32GB! my aunt gave it to me. well, actually i was supposed to get a 8GB one, then my aunty bought the 32GB because the price was quite attractive. so yea. yay!
i need to get a screen protector fixed to the glass soon, though.

earning money
worked my butt off yesterday. worked from 2pm to 11pm. but at the end of it all, at least we all ate haagen dazs ice cream before ending work. haha. we all ate $6 worth of ice cream.
i can't believe people are dumb enought to buy a scoop of ice cream for $4.50. buy a Pint la! $14.50... so many more scoops. tsk!

A Photo A Day Project - 2009
some of you should know, or maybe just shang jun, i've been regularly going into www.clubsnap.com , a photography forum and browsing thru the forums and helping others and myself on photography tips.
in the forum, there are threads where forumers can post their pics as well, of which one is a thread called 'A Photo A Day', where forumers post onto the forum a pic daily. its not an easy task as people wilk kinda grade your pics. well, i took up the challenge and took part in this project for the year of 2009. i hope with his, i can improve on my photography.
