i'm happy to say that i've more or less finished packing my stuff. sighh i was just too lazy to start packing yesterday and the day before. but yes its all done!
charged my phone battery, 4 batts for camera, IXUS's battery, 8 AA batts for flash.
i made sure donutman CDs and the books for malacca kids are in my laugage. i think.. i'm good to go. haha

lesson learnt today: never ever ever swim 20+ laps then go play 2hours of competitive badminton. YOU WILL DIE!
yea yea thats what i did today. i slacked the whole morning, i did planned to start packing but i couldn't find the laugage i want to bring to malacca. but i realised its in UK with my sis :( so i'll bring a purple sansonite suitcase.
in mid afternoon when the sun was out i cycled to bishan to swim. i told myself not to swim too many laps today because i'll be playing badminton in the evening. but i think i still swam about 20+ laps.
then came badminton! wow i haven't played badminton in 2 months. good thing i could still play fairly well. just that... I GOT NO STAMINA!!! hahaha after my 2nd game i was just," okay i'm gonna fall and die any second" haha oh well, it was fun!
tmr.. i need to pack pack pack and watch donutman! and charge batteries!

i've been watching the Donutman VCD to choose suitable parts for the pre school kids programme. you know what, this is may a very very old production produced before 1994.. i must say its rather interesting. it'll be much more simpler for the kids to understand in malacca.

$35.50 dinner
just came home from dinner with my parents today at AMK ave 10 because after that my dad needed to go back office to collect his stuff.
so we went to this food centre, i won't wanna call it a restaurant because there was no aircon in it. so we ordered our food... prawn paste chicken, kangkong, tofu and sliced fish soup. we also ordered 3 plates of rice and 2 cans of drinks.
after the meal when my dad asked for the bill, the bill came up to $35.50! now think about it, for that amount of food for 3 people, doesn't it cost a little too much. so when the lady quoted the price my dad and i looked at each other like as if something was wrong.
so after payment my dad took the receipt and check carefully, we paid 6 dollars extra.
wow can you imagine what someone can do with $6.. can buy a double cheese burger meal la.

Here in my Life
Mission Trip training yesterday. well, i guess for my level it was more of planning for the programme we're running in malacca. i'm really excited! i'm even more excited than the previous malacca trip!
there was another session of training today for the trip. haha i had an enjoyable time talking to a 5 year old girl, ALEXANDRIA! she's like so so cute and funny! well, Aunty Clara, alex's mum, passed me a boggle set and asked me to take some pics of the tiles for her. while i was doing that in one of the smaller rooms Alex randomly carried a chair and sat next to me. haha, then we she started using the boggle blocks and rearranging them to form her name and funny funny stuff and make me take pictures of them. haha.
i told myself not to load pics now because i'll end up editing them and thus sleeping really late.
oh well, i watched quantum of solace just now!

Graduation Night 2008
maybe i should have brought my 400D to grad night yesterday since there were quite a few students who brought theirs. oh well, a canon IXUS did served me well, to a certain extend.
well, Grad Night was pretty good. but i was welcomed by my friend who smell of smoke. haha sigh they never change :D
oh well, the dinner i must say was good but definetly not worth the $90 we pay. i think most of the money is used for the door gifts and lucky draw prizes.
yes then came to the first round of lucky draw game. for that round there were 40 prizes to be won. if i'm not wrong the prizes were Border's vouchers. so the DJ started with the 40th prize. and my classmates and i were so annoyed that only the names from the express classes. so my class plus the other NA class went out to take class photos. while taking pics for the class i suddenly realized i won a lucky draw price cos my friends were shouting to me that my name was being called out. hahaha how cool is that man!!!
oh well, i said my goodbyes to my teachers and friends then i went home. i do hope i still keep them in contact:)
Miss Fong, my english teacher for this year. no doubt she's a really nice person, i think her teaching style isn't very good. haha :D

Wheeee O Levels are OVER!!!
i think i'm one of the lone rangers who after the paper didn't go out with any of his friends. oh well, the moment just after the paper was quite cool. my class left the exam hall like a riot!
oh well, i went paragon for dental and my orthodontist gave me an early christmas present. NEW WIRE!!! so its hurting quite alot now :(
went to Canon Servicing Centre after that to collect my camera then got home.
i would say... today is a pretty boring day.

today is a special day. it was the very very very first time my nose bled. haha
its kinda amazing actually because i never ever had a nose bleed. in primary school i always wondered why my classmates always had nose bleed but not me one! :( i was thinking to myself then," i want one! i want one!" haha retarded right? i know.
i can't really read what the students wrote but i've seen some really funny ones around the school on friday. i would be going back to ACS(J) again on wednesday(hopefully)

nehh i'm not gonna quote the verse. but this is the name of the shop that i just bought my 430EXII flash from.
well, i decided that i would only search for the flash in 3 camera shops. Cathay Photo at Peninsular plaza, Alan Photo at Funan OR John 3:16.
i walked to peninsular plaza first and i bumped into Yi Loong and his jc friend. he was there to help her get a lens if i'm not wrong. yea so i went cathay photo and asked how much the flash is. they quoted me a reasonable price but the sad thing is that IT WAS OUT OF STOCK!!! :( haha so i walked back to Funan.
then i went to Alan Photo. they did have the flash, however they were Grey sets. the only flashes they had left were from Japan with japan waranty. however they were selling for a good price of $400 w/GST.
then i met up my parents and we went John 3:16. i think it was really by God's grace that when i reached there. they only had one 430EXII left on the shelf because the fella before me at first wanteh the flash but decided not to have it. yea so i bought over it. overall, i was really pleased with the service. Sam, the sales person, was a really joyful chap.. actually everyone in the shop were all smiling. haha and they were playing christian music. how cool is that!
yea and Sam let me test the flash with a canon 50D! wow that camera is one solid piece of thing man!
okay my next purchase will be my camera body!
all i want now is my camera body back from the servicing centre!!!

it was a pity i sent my camera in for servicing yesterday. i would have wanted to snap some photos of my old Primary school. nevermind, by next monday i should have gotten my 430EXII flash and my camera back. i'll go back on wednesday to shoot.
i'll just really miss the place. but i do wanna share a picture with you guys which really cracked me up...
you see, there were read markers and blank yellow paper around the school. students were strongly encourage to write some thing on it which happened to them in their primary school life and paste it at the place where that incident happened.
well one particular student wrote this. i'm guessing its a primary school student.

last friday when i was in the car with my sis driving to bishan to watch High School Musical 3, we heard over the radio, Gold 90 FM, that for men, if you drink 3 or more cups of coffee a day... you will grow Boobs! haha sounds cool eh? i wanna try man.
on the average i'm drinking at least a cup of coffee a day. maybe i should start drinking 3 cups a day and see what happens. hahahaha
oh yes anyway, i watched high school musical 3! after O's, i wanna watch quantium of solace and madagascar 2!!!
oh yippie! i'm going funan on saturday to get my 430EXII flash!!!

rain rain WENT away!
D&T was... sighh
oh well, i went swimming in the afternoon.
you know, when i left home on my bike the sun was shining really bright and the sky was all blue. after 15 mins when i reached bishan swimming complex, the sky was like massively overcast! arghh.
but i didn't really care then so i just got into the pool. i swam one lap of free style then frog style. sigh then the whistle sounded from the lifeguard. we had to get out of the pool cos there was lightning and thunder! BOO. but thankfully after 15 mins swimmers could get back into the pool. haha i think i swam quite alot alot today. and it feels really shiok when you work out. hahaha.
i should have just brought back the nissan teana that day and put in in my room at home! hahaha
